Better Collective has confirmed the winners of all six markets for its Bookmaker Awards and revealed a large increase in data points collected for the process.
The affiliate confirmed that for its 2023 edition of the awards, it analysed a total of 4,165,796 data points. This represents a 384% increase from 2022 and a 2696% rise in the total analysed in 2021.
The awards are focused across six markets: the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Romania and Greece. Better Collective’s first awards it hosted were in Greece in 2020 with other awards occurring in Amsterdam.
Earlier this year in June the affiliate revealed its Greek market winners in Athens.
Shona ODonnell, head of strategic events at Better Collective, said that the company is “impressed to see the great innovation from the bookmakers across the markets”.
“At this year's Better Collective Bookmaker Awards, we have collected and analysed more than four million data points to figure out which bookmakers in each of the six markets that in the best way have supported players in having an entertaining and safe sports betting experience.”
Bet365 came on top in five categories in the UK and Denmark as well as in Sweden with four wins. Denmark’s overall winner was Fortuna with three wins while in Romania Efbet and Betano both picked up three accolades.
The winners were decided by extensive market research among Better Collective’s local user communities.
