- SPONSORSHIP
Checkd Media has announced that it has signed a new deal with operator Bet365 for a new run of the I Had Trials Once football podcast.
The operator will sponsor the podcast to promote its 6 Scores Challenge.
I Had Trials Once is a football podcast featuring regular presenters, non-league Radcliffe striker Jordan Hulme and football agent Gareth Seddon.
The new deal will see the podcast run for a new three-month run. The first guest will be former Charlton and Bristol City manager Dean Holden.
As part of the sponsorship, the two hosts will produce a video clip to promote the 6 Scores Challenge, which will be published to the podcast’s social channels.
Big three points
Will Tyrrell, Checkd Media’s UK media director, commented that the podcast has been a “great success” since its first run where it attracted “a large enthusiastic audience”.
“It's fantastic to bring it back again in conjunction with such a big operator brand,” added Tyrrell.
“Dean Holden was a great guest with an interesting story to tell, kicking off a new series that is sure to be very entertaining while also serving as a valuable promotional tool for Bet365’s 6 Scores Challenge.”
Podcast season
Checkd previously ran another football podcast, No Tippy Tappy Football, with Sam Allardyce.
The podcast run by Checkd Media with operator William Hill had two runs after initially launching for the December 2022 World Cup and was renewed in March until the end of the football season.
