QiH appoints new roles in leadership investment

QiH has announced two leadership changes as it continues its four-year growth plan.

The affiliate has hired David Murphy as its first-ever CMO and also promoted Andrew Lee to the role of COO.

QiH explains that both decisions are part of an “ambitious growth strategy”, which involves bringing C-suite management to its London headquarters to solidify its operational capabilities.

Murphy will be tasked with achieving double-digit growth through marketing channels and commercial relationships, as well as improving on current team capabilities. He will also be tasked with driving revenue and profit across all marketing avenues at the affiliate.

Lee, who has been with QiH since its inception, in his new role as COO will oversee all operational departments and revenue growth. He will also be responsible for QiH’s managing systems, compliance strategy and the company’s partnerships.

Jamie Walters, QiH Group CEO, said that the rapid growth of the company has resulted in a necessity for these roles.

“As the company saw a 75% increase in both revenue and profit in FY2023 and is on track for a repeat of that this year, it’s vital that we have this level of experience to lead the team alongside me.

“David’s [Murphy] knowledge of the betting and gaming sector and Andrew’s [Lee] knowledge of QiH’s operational excellence as well as what our partners need will bring a wonderful combination to our existing team – and there’s more to come!”

On his new role, Murphy highlighted that QiH has been making “major waves in the industry in the past few years” and witnessing its growth and leadership make it an attractive next step in his career.

“I can’t wait to bring my expertise in the igaming sector to QiH, helping develop and motivate a fantastic marketing team to bring this power affiliate to its goal of becoming the UK’s most widely known affiliate in online betting and gaming.

On his new role as COO, Lee said that he was looking forward to “using the experiences of the past decade at QiH to continue to drive operational excellence to deliver on our strategic growth plans.

“With our talented team and strong foundations, we're well-positioned to continue building on our success.”
