Checkd Group has appointed James Prosser in a newly created growth director role at the affiliate and technology development company.
Prosser has worked at the affiliate since April 2024 as a growth consultant and worked on technology-led activities for sports betting. This included playing an “integral role” in the rollout of the recently launched SmartPicks Pro tool.
Previously, Prosser served as Spotlight Search Group affiliate director as well as co-founding Free Super Tips and Myracing.com for the UK market.
His new role as growth director will see Prosser focused on conversion touch points, CRM and wider revenue initiatives in the UK and US.
“James has truly hit the ground running at Checkd Group, finding quick wins and longer term opportunities across our product suite to improve conversion, and ultimately revenue,” said Checkd Media managing director Alex Beecham.
“His appointment as growth director was essential for Checkd Group to keep pushing conversion rates up, as we continue to improve our top of funnel traffic across products. James’ proven experience in the industry is key to helping us push the product suite forward,” Beecham concluded.
On his new role, Prosser said that he’s been impressed with the success that the group has achieved in the last six months “having seen first hand the significant increases in organic traffic and users for our Footy Accumulators site, plus a large increase in bookmaker clickouts in that time.”

“In my new role, I will be aiming to improve conversion and direct operator revenue across all channels, plus assisting with growth and revenue maximisation for all brands including SmartPicks.”
Recently, Checkd Dev launched its Smart Acca tool in Africa in collaboration with 888Africa.
