iBetMedia has confirmed that will be relaunching the poker brand on 1 December.
The relaunch of Pokerati, which was acquired back in January, will help iBetMedia strengthen its user acquisition and organic reach in English-speaking markets. The brand’s existing casual player audience will also enable the poker affiliate to target the US audience as well.
iBetMedia confirmed that its decision to relaunch the asset was influenced by the changing environment in the affiliate landscape and that Google putting more emphasis on recognisable brands for search rankings.
Pokerati focuses on providing content on live poker events, news and analysis on live poker streams, articles on poker vlogs and an events schedule. Peckaitis purchased the poker brand back in January
“We will do our best to re-establish Pokerati as one of the leading poker media players and hope to reach the hearts of old followers and new fans alike,” said iBetMedia’s CEO Tadas Peckaitis.
“I’m excited to see what new heights Tadas and his team can take it to, and glad to know Pokerati will live on,” said Dan Michalski, founder of Pokerati.
Peckaitis also confirmed that he intends to keep Pokerati’s tradition of offering a platform for both writers and players to engage when it relaunches next week.
