Oddschecker has announced a new awards initiative for operators that will see the best sportsbooks recognised in various categories.
The Oddschecker Endorsed honours service will utilise the brand’s site traffic and betting activity metrics, alongside user opinion from its audience to arrive at the final list of winners, which will be announced in January 2025 and renewed annually.
Winners will be able to license the Oddschecker Endorsed branding across their media assets for the coming twelve months. Example categories of the new service will include “Most Popular Sportsbook”, “Best Safer Gambling Tools” and “Best Bet Builder”.
It will work similarly to the already launched Oddschecker verified stamp that aims to drive customer trust and engagement.
Other categories that will receive the Oddschecker Endorsed status include “Best Safer Gambling Tools”, “Best Football Product”, “Most Generous Sportsbook” and “Best New Promotion”.
Andrew Bramley, commercial director at FairPlay Sports Media, the parent company of Oddschecker, emphasised the new service will “go beyond just perception and deliver an objective look at the best offerings in the market for bookmakers”.
“We’re excited to share our findings in the new year, with several big names and challenger brands set to be recognised and rewarded for giving quality betting experiences to UK bettors.”
