The super affiliate’s Brazilian sports media brand Bolavip has partnered with Network Gaming to introduce Ligavip, a mobile-first gaming platform.
Tomás Vaz de Carvalho, COO South America at Better Collective, says the collaboration enables both companies “to stay ahead of the curve” as the affiliate shifts towards gaming as a core media strategy to drive new revenue.
Ligavip offers free-to-play games powered by branded prizes, including shopping vouchers from leading sports retailers in Brazil, awarded to top performers in its challenges. Players can compete for rewards, challenge friends for bragging rights and track their progress on live leaderboards in a community-first space.
Coinciding with the start of the main football championship in Brazil, the platform’s debut has already delivered early results, including a 15% conversion rate from unique visitors to registered users in its opening weekend.
The launch also marks Network Gaming’s entry into the Brazilian market and the beginning of its next phase in gaming platform development. With Ligavip, the company will now be building out advanced meta mechanics, such as daily rewards, progression loops and upgrades, to boost long-term retention. Combined with social features like leaderboards, invite-a-friend mechanics and community leagues, these mechanics can transform simple games into social experiences.
Commenting on the partnership, Harry Collins, Network Gaming CEO, said: “This is a defining moment for us. It’s not just about great gameplay; it's about creating sustainable entertainment ecosystems built around loyalty, fun and fan connection.”
Carvalho added that Better Collective is “thrilled to be working with Network Gaming to bring a new kind of interactive sports experience to Brazil. This is about engaging fans in a fresh, rewarding way – and opening up new commercial avenues that align with global digital trends".
Better Collective recently nominated Professor Thomas Plenborg to join its board of directors at the upcoming annual general meeting on 22 April 2025.
