OLBG signs partnership with Dorking Wanderers Football Club

By Joyce Yang

The affiliate has announced a long-term sponsorship deal with Dorking Wanderers Football Club (DWFC), beginning from the 2025/26 season.

DWFC is a professional football club founded in 1999 and affiliated with the Surrey County Football Association. The team currently competes in the National League South, the sixth tier of English football, and plays its home matches at Meadowbank in Dorking.

The club rose to prominence through the documentary series Dorking Uncovered on the Bunch of Amateurs YouTube account that documents clubs in the non-league football pyramid in the UK. Dorking content on the Bunch of Amateurs’ TikTok account, largely of club founder, chairman and manager Marc White on the touchline, regularly sits at the six-figure mark, with some videos in the millions.

Richard Moffat, OLBG CEO, pictured above receiving his Affiliate Idol recognition in the 2024 iGB Affiliate Awards, previously hinted at the collaboration in an exclusive interview with iGB Affiliate, describing sponsorships as the company’s “long-term brand-building” strategy beyond traditional affiliate marketing. He is “excited” to begin the partnership, noting that “Dorking’s journey so far has been nothing short of inspirational”.

“As someone who grew up supporting a non-league team, travelling home and away, I have some appreciation of the unique bond between a club, its players and its supporters, along with the challenges of progressing through the pyramid,” Moffat said.

As principal partner of the club, OLBG’s logo will feature on the home and alternative kits of all senior men’s and women’s teams. Moffat stressed that the collaboration aims to “support Dorking every step of the way in their mission to complete their non-league journey and reach League Two”, with a number of new initiatives planned to bring supporters closer to players and staff while expanding the club’s national presence.

Jonathan Bines, DWFC CEO, described the partnership as “a landmark moment for the club, representing a major step in recognising the true standing of Dorking Wanderers”.

“From our very first conversations, Richard and his team at OLBG showed a genuine interest in the club and the journey we’re on,” Bines said.

“Richard has been clear and consistent in his commitment: they want to help us get to where we want to be - and be an active part of the journey. This isn’t just a transaction; it’s a genuine meeting of minds, and we’re hugely excited about what we can achieve together.”

Marc White added that the club looks forward to “building a successful, long-lasting relationship” and encouraged supporters to “share in the excitement and get behind it every step of the way”.

OLBG also signed a multi-year front-of-shirt deal with Lions Gibraltar FC last year and recently extended its Harry Derham racing sponsorship for a further five years.
