What you will do:
 
 
 
Complete time sensitive tasks impacting our clients
Work with colleagues from non-technical departments to identify and resolve bugs in our software
Proactively provide status by updating the tickets
Provide high-quality solutions that work from the first time
Provide ongoing support and maintenance to the company’s software products:
Maintain SQL processes and database related applications
Write stored procedures and database views to simplify data access
Maintain and debug our software products and websites
Troubleshoot and analyze code in MSSQL, Oracle, ASP classic, ASP.Net and JQuery, Java
 
 
To be successful you need to have:
 
 
 
3+ years’ experience servicing clients
Experience writing, modifying and troubleshooting stored procedures in MS SQL databases
Microsoft SQL, SSIS, RDBMS and their specific tools: SQL, Transact SQL, Enterprise manager, Query Analyser
Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, Bitbucket
Advanced debugging skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently as well as in a team
Able to manage shifting priorities
Able to learn quickly
Excellent work ethic - willing to go above and beyond to get the job done
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
Excellent time management skills
Proactive, detail oriented
 
 
Preferred Technical Skills:
 
 
 
Good knowledge of MSSQL code and design best practices and database optimization
Knowledge working with Microsoft technology stack likes ASP.NET, C#
Knowledge working with web services and APIs
Solid understanding of CSS, HTML, XHTML, XML, Javascript, AJAX and JSON
An understanding of Web Development standards and Best Practices including W3C standards compliance and issues related to cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility
Basic knowledge of IIS
Basic knowledge of network services and communication protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, Telnet, SSH, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL)
Code optimization skills, for database and web
