| The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Product Owner to join our dynamic team in the affiliation space, focusing on sportsbooks and casino products. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of WordPress assets. You will be at the heart of maintaining and enhancing our sites, resolving urgent issues, and driving their growth potential. We are looking for a hands-on leader with deep WordPress expertise and a strong technical SEO background to elevate these sites to new levels of performance. Responsibilities Technical Responsibilities Overlook assigned portfolio of WordPress sites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and high technical SEO scores. Quickly address and resolve urgent issues affecting site functionality, performance, or security. Conduct frequent technical SEO audits to identify areas for improvement. Prioritize and manage the backlog of issues based on urgency and business impact. Evaluate and prioritize the websites in your portfolio based on their market and growth potential. Manage and oversee the integration of third-party tools and plugins, ensuring they align with overall site performance and SEO goals. Implement and manage SEO features, such as schema markups, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, and hreflang solutions to boost organic traffic and search engine rankings. Lead the optimization of Core Web Vitals across the portfolio. Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure all updates and new features meet high standards before deployment. Regularly analyze website performance metrics and analytics to guide decision-making and identify opportunities for optimization. Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of technical processes, decisions, and changes. Leadership Responsibilities Lead and manage a dedicated team of WordPress Developers. Implement and manage the scrum process, ensuring agile practices are followed and optimized for the team's workflow. Manage system releases, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders regarding development timelines, deliverables, and impacts. Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, clearly communicating the status of ongoing projects and managing expectations. Hold regular meetings with stakeholders to gather input, communicate progress, and manage expectations. Work closely with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, UX/UI) to ensure alignment on goals and strategies across the business. Requirements Excellent technical and hands-on working knowledge in Windows desktop operating systems, MacOS, and Linux Working knowledge and experience to maintain and troubleshoot the following: Active Directory (Users and Asset Management) Group Policy Objects Desktop and Server HardwareG Suite Apps (Mail, Google Drive, etc..) Atlassian (Jira Service Desk, Confluence and Insights) Video Conferencing Systems based on Zoom Candidates having the following will be preferred: Working knowledge of Azure AD and O365 Experience with JAMF (Enterprise management software for Apple Devices) Ability to perform day-to-day operational tasks for the following - Network switches and routers Wireless access network setups Experience in Virtualization (Hyper-V or Vmware) Working knowledge of Backup Solutions such as Veeam or Altaro Ability to follow the ITIL processes below - Problem Management Incident Management Change Management Service Asset and Configuration Management Certifications from Microsoft (MCSA - Server 2016 or O365) and Cisco (CCNA) Who you are: An awesome team player with a positive attitude Excellent people communication skills A quick learner, able to rapidly adapt to a dynamic business environment Able to take on true challenges and turn them into useful opportunities Impeccable attention to detail Can understand and follow IT operations processes to the highest level of detail What we're offering Hybrid Work Model: Enjoy the flexibility of blending remote and office-based work.
