The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Social Media Manager with a strong background in sports and betting to lead our social media initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our sports betting affiliate site. You will work closely with the Head of Sports and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives.

What you'll be doing
Strategic Social Media Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with business goals and drive engagement across all relevant platforms.
Content Strategy & Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content tailored to the sports betting community, ensuring it reflects current trends and resonates with our audience.
Audience Engagement & Community Management: Foster a vibrant online community by actively engaging with followers, responding to inquiries, and managing online discussions to build brand loyalty.
Performance Analysis & Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics. Use insights to inform strategy and optimize content for maximum impact.
Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of industry trends, sports news, and betting regulations to ensure that our content remains relevant and compliant with industry standards.
Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with marketing, content, and design teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and alignment across all marketing initiatives.
Influencer and Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with influencers and affiliates to amplify our reach and enhance brand visibility.
Crisis Management: Develop and implement protocols for managing potential social media crises, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to any issues that may arise.
What we're looking for
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a talent for creating compelling narratives and engaging content. An additional language is a huge advantage (Spanish preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management, with a strong background in the iGaming or sports betting sectors.
In-depth understanding of sports, betting markets, and audience behavior in the online betting community.
Expertise in social media platforms and analytics tools, with a proven ability to leverage insights for strategic decision-making.
Strong graphic design skills or experience with content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) to enhance visual content.
Familiarity with social media management tools to streamline scheduling and reporting.
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
A proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Passion for sports and betting, with a strong understanding of the latest trends and developments in the industry.
