Role
The Technology Vertical is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our tech and poker teams, reporting to the QA Engineer Lead. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for manually testing new features across various products developed by both the backend and frontend teams. Additionally, the Senior QA Engineer will implement automation frameworks to streamline regression testing.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute manual UX flows, and test cases, analyze results, report, and track defects, verify fixes, and follow-up work to resolve issues on Tech Pod websites.
Collaborate with product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria.
Communicate effectively with developers to identify the root cause of defects and provide actionable feedback, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Create and maintain test cases based on feature descriptions provided by product managers and discussions with developers.
Ensuring each product release meets well-defined high-quality standards.
Contribute to the development and implementation of QA policies and procedures.
Mentor Junior QA engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices in test case design, defect tracking, and process improvement.
Participate in the development and integration of automation frameworks to streamline regression testing and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
Over 5 years of experience in QA roles.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong knowledge of the different testing methodologies.
Expertise in QA tools and techniques.
Previous experience with WordPress sites.
Proficient in testing at both the frontend and backend levels.
In-depth knowledge of designing and executing test cases based on requirements.
Keen attention to detail and working to the specs.
Experience with automation testing.
Working knowledge of SEO techniques.
Capable of collaborating closely with different development teams.
Nice to have:
ISTQB certification.
Experience with Test Management Tools.
Ability to mentor Junior QA members to enhance their testing and technical skills while contributing to team knowledge sharing and upskilling.
