Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to oversee the development and optimization of digital products that enhance our audience's news experience. This role bridges the gap between technology, editorial, and business teams, driving the success of our products in a fast-paced, competitive environment. You will be responsible for identifying user needs, defining product vision, and ensuring that our offerings align with company goals and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities
 
Work closely with leadership to understand and align product goals with business objectives, such as revenue growth, market expansion, or customer engagement.
 
Lead agile processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews, to ensure timely product delivery.
 
Mapping and measuring the success of a new product launch involves a structured approach that aligns with business objectives.
 
Regularly update the roadmap to reflect evolving business priorities, market trends, and feedback.
 
Align editorial and technical teams to balance user experience with business goals.
 
Collaborate with the advertising and subscription teams to integrate monetization strategies into products.
 
Optimize product performance by tracking KPIs, including page views, session duration, conversion rates, and revenue impact.
 
Work with UX/UI designers to create seamless and engaging user experiences across platforms (web, mobile, apps).
 
Job requirements
Requirements
 
5-6 years of product management experience,Preferably within industries like sports media, publishing, or news, emphasizing familiarity with content-driven environments.
 
Must have an understanding of SEO
 
Must have a working knowledge of Wordpress
 
Must have a working experience with UX/UI suggesting involvement in user interface and user experience design processes.
 
Should have dealt directly with Data Vendors
 
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, or Marketing)
 
Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
 
Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, lead teams, and present product strategies effectively.
