About the Role and Candidate:
 
As a Content manager for our German comparison site, you will play a crucial role in shaping user experience through engaging, informative, optimized content. The role requires curiosity and interest in emerging SEO trends and finding new SEO content opportunities and ideas to test. Our ideal candidate is a team collaborator who is proactive when it comes to execution, finding solutions, and open to increasing their knowledge on the job.
 
Your responsibilities:
 
Creating high quality content for our target audience at every level of the user funnel, including comparison guides, reviews and articles related to casinos, games, strategies, industry trends.
 
Content gap ideation based on analysis of GSC data, competitors, SERPs, DE market
 
Creating templates for new content based on varying types of analysis and research
 
Auditing, optimizing and updating on-page SEO elements to satisfy Google best practices while staying ahead of competition and improving traffic and engagement.
 
Managing freelancers and their content, ensuring it consistently meets our highest quality standards, including fact-checking for accuracy.
 
Conducting ongoing keyword/competitor/market analysis to continue developing content plans, finding new ideas to test - overall taking an active role in ensuring our visibility success.
 
 
 
Your essential skills/experience:
 
Fluent in German with exceptional writing and communication skills.
Experience in both content optimization and the iGaming industry is necessary, with a proven track record of success.
Deep understanding of the casino industry, including trends, brands, games and regulations. As well as understanding of the affiliate model for conversion optimization
Strong grasp of SEO content best practices in 2025. Demonstrable on-page optimization knowledge in line with Google guidelines, EEAT, helpful content, branding, and more
Eye for detail, especially for editorial QA and presentation of pages with optimal UX in mind.
Ability to meet deadlines consistently and work independently and efficiently.
Experience with WordPress and tools like Surfer, Ahrefs, Google Search Console query data.

Practicalities:
